Amass and SciSure partner to bring scientific intelligence into laboratory workflows

Amass is partnering with SciSure to connect researchers’ experiments with the wider scientific evidence, starting inside the electronic lab notebook within SciSure’s Scientific Management Platform.

For researchers, this means an experiment already in their notebook can become the starting point for a scientific investigation. They can ask Amass to review a methodology, compare published findings or explore possible explanations for an unexpected result, using their own experiment context alongside external evidence.

For Amass, the partnership opens a route into SciSure’s global laboratory community and advances our work to bring scientific intelligence into the software researchers use every day.

“We are building Amass to bring scientific intelligence into the work researchers do every day. With SciSure, a scientist can start with an experiment already in their notebook and investigate how it connects to the wider evidence. This partnership gives us a route to bring that capability to laboratories around the world,” said Henrik Jensen, Co-founder and CEO of Amass.

From experiment context to scientific evidence

Amass’s connected *Core architecture brings together literature, clinical trials, patents, regulatory information, drugs and genes. Researchers can follow a question across these sources in one conversation, inspect references and pursue new questions as the evidence develops.

Inside SciSure, that investigation can begin with the work already in front of them.

A researcher reviewing an unexpected result can select the relevant experiment and ask which explanations the literature supports. They can challenge an interpretation, examine alternative approaches or explore which follow-up experiments might help distinguish between competing explanations.

The conversation stays inside SciSure, with the experiment providing context and the sources available for inspection.

Researchers choose what they share

The integration lets researchers select up to five experiments, preview the text Amass will read and choose individual sections to include. They can also optionally mask compound identifiers before sending a question.

The shared context is text only; attachments and images are excluded. Compound ID masking does not mask names, sample codes or patient identifiers, so researchers should review the selected text before sharing it.

Scientific intelligence where research happens

SciSure connects research, laboratory operations, safety and compliance in its Scientific Management Platform.

“We want SciSure to be the home base where laboratories connect their research, data and the specialized tools that help move science forward. Opening our platform to innovative partners like Amass is central to that vision. By bringing scientific intelligence directly into the researcher’s existing workflow, we can help scientists put their experimental results into broader context, evaluate the evidence and make more informed decisions about what comes next,” said Andrew Martin, Director/GM of Marketplace and Integrations at SciSure.

Amass contributes connected scientific evidence and the ability to investigate it in the context of a researcher’s own work. Together, the integration gives researchers a more direct way to move between an experiment and the evidence that could inform what comes next.
